A non-profit for wellness, Thrive subsidizes or removes the cost of holistic health services and educational classes. Thrive also provides STI and pregnancy testing and counseling options to San Diego County.
Ushering in a New Wave of Healthcare
Thrive is helping fund the creation of a revolutionary new center. Tourmaline Birth and Wellness Center unites a Licensed Midwife operated birth center and a network of holistic providers including craniosacral therapists, nutritionists, naturopathic doctors, and many others. This new model will improve the health of our community and has the potential to shift our image of a medical office.
Free Testing and Counseling
Every person has the right to compassionate care; especially in uncertain times in their lives. Thanks to Thrive support, Midwives will not only provide lab testing for STIs and pregnancy but also guide and educate patients on their options. Support and education gatherings not only advance the wellness of the community, but they build community.
Subsidizing Midwifery Services
Building sustainability for practitioners and clients is a must. Pregnancy and birth is expensive regardless of insurance or medicaid plans. In order to serve all who desire midwifery services and maintain a sustainable practice at Tourmaline Birth and Wellness Center, Thrive will help families in need pay their global midwifery fees.
